WHAT MUSIC SHOULD YOU PLAY?

Multiple choice…at a baby shower should you play:

A. Heavy Metal

B. Gangster Rap

C. Easy Listening

Not a hard question but I find this very difficult for some hosts/hostesses. There is no right or wrong answer really beacuse maybe you are having a NWA themed baby shower...I can only imagine!

Bottom line, music is a must. Here’s some quick ideas:

Dinner Party: Frank Sinatra, Motown, French cafe music.

Baby Shower: Oldies, French Cafe Music, Classical

Anniversary Party: Music from that decade, or classical (depends on the theme)

Please, pretty please, play music at your event. It makes so much of a difference. Any party I plan, including small parties in my home, have music.

However please remember, if there are announcements to be made...turn the music off or down. That's a no-brainer but it's easily forgotten. Make sure to talk to your team or helper before the event and make a plan that at a certain time the music needs to be stopped.
